Where can we play?

You get to pick from a variety of options:

  • Scenic Settings: Choose from our curated list of beautiful and publicly accessible locations on the river, by the lake, or at the beach.

  • At Your Doorstep: We can set up in your own backyard or living room for ultimate convenience.

  • A Local Venue: Restaurants, bars, and breweries love to host us if you want to eat and drink while you play.

How far will you travel?

We are based in downtown Wilmington and can travel to nearby areas like Leland, Castle Hayne, Hampstead, and Carolina Beach.

What does "all-inclusive" actually include?

We want you to focus only on having fun, so absolutely nothing is needed on your end! Just bring your friends and the Dragon Wagon will provide:

  • A professional Dungeon Master

  • All D&D rulebooks, dice, and character sheets

  • Portable tables, chairs, and a canopy for outdoor play

  • An immersive experience with a mix of 2D maps, 3D terrain, and detailed miniatures

  • Pencils and paper for taking notes

What if I've never played D&D?

Not a problem! The Dragon Wagon is the perfect place to start. Our DM will guide you through all the rules, help you choose from a list of pre-built characters, and get you into the action in minutes.

How many people can play?

Our adventures are best with 3 to 5 players, but a group of 2 is also possible! For larger groups, please contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate.

What are your hours?

  • Friday Evenings

  • All day Saturday

  • Sunday afternoons

Please email us if a weekday is better for you. We are happy to work with your schedule and make the experience as convenient as possible.

How much does it cost?

Our 4-hour mobile D&D experience is $250 for a group of up to 5 players. This flat rate covers everything: the Dungeon Master, all equipment, setup, and teardown.

If you are unsure D&D is for you or just don’t have time for along session, we can do a 2-hour session for $150.

Games other than D&D?

We also offer a murder mystery experience using an amazingly fun social deduction game. It is a blast to play and very easy to jump into for anyone!

We are working to master other tabletop role-playing game systems so we can offer you more variety.
